Early Snow Slows Real Estate Market

Typically at about the first frost of the year, Reno Real Estate begins to slow. This is what is called a seasonality shift, something that has been proven over the years as a trend with a season. After the first snow, winter buyer’s tend to come out again, but prices remain cold and lower than in the summer. This can be attributed to factors such as holidays, kids in school, difficulty of moving in the winter and surprises that may surface once it warms up again. Fortunately, in Reno, NV real estate is in demand and prices have only slightly dipped with this winter season quickly approaching. Look for new inventory to start cropping up in Reno within the first weeks of the new year.
